Ingredients:
சேனைக்கிழங்கு / Yam - 250 gms
எண்ணை / oil - to fry
உப்பு / Salt - to taste
மிளகாய் பொடி / Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Method:
Peel the skin of Yam & wash twice. Soak it in water for half an hour.
After 30 minutes take out Yam from water & keep it in a towel to dry the extra water from that and let it dry for some time. ( If we feel the Yam is somewhat itching we can peel the same, and soak it in turmeric & salt water for half an hour and then soaked in plain water & dried)
Heat oil in kadhai. After it is dried, grate the yam with a grater in hot oil. OR we can grate the same in a plate & then put in oil. Fry the same in medium hot oil till we get golden brown color.
Fry all yam in the same way.
Add salt & chili powder in that & mix nicely. Add fried curry leaves to that & serve.
