Tofu Salad Recipe/ Soya paneer vegetable salad/ How to make Tofu Vegetable Salad


Ingredients: சோயா பன்னீர் /Hard Tofu-200 gms Lettuce 🥬- 4 bunches Avocado 🥑- little முளைகட்டிய பயறு/ green sprouts- 4 tbsps தக்காளி / Tomato 🍅- 3 காரட் / Carrots 🥕- 1 மஞ்சள் குடைமிளகாய் / yellow Capsicum- 1/2 சிவப்பு குடைமிளகாய் / Red capsicum- 1/2 பாலக் கீரை/ Spinach- little வெங்காயக்கீரை/ spring onion- little வெள்ளரிக்காய் / Cucumber 🥒-1 மிளகாய் பொடி/ red chilli flakes-little Sweet chili sauce- 2 tsp Chili peanut sauce- 2 tsp Soya sauce- 2 tsp Olive oil/ ஆலிவ் எண்ணை- 2 tbsp மிளகு/ pepper- 1 tsp உப்பு / Salt - as per taste Method: Wrap Tofu in kitchen towel to take out the excess water. Cut into small cubes and fry in little oil in a pan. Roast all tofu nicely. Cut lettuce in small pieces & take it in a bowl. Add all the vegetables & sauces and mix thoroughly with salt, pepper & olive oil. Our Tofu salad bowl is ready. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and keep refrigerated. Paal Payasam in Tamil / Rice Kheer recipe/ Milk Kheer recipe


Ingredients: பால் / Milk - 1 litre பாசுமதி அரிசி/ Basmati Rice- 1 tbsp சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 1/2 cup ஏலக்காய் / Cardomom- 1/2 tsp முந்திரிப்பருப்பு / Cashews- 10 திராட்சை / Raisins/ kismiss- 10 குங்குமப்பூ / Kesar - little soaked in hot milk நெய் / ghee - 2 tsp Method: Wash the rice,drain the water and dry. Grind the washed basmati rice in to half in mixi. Take milk in a tall vessel so that the quantity of the milk should be 1/3 in that. Add rice and keep it in pressure cooker in medium flame with lid & weight for 30 minutes. After 30 min take out the milk and add sugar, cardomom& kesar to that. Boil for 5 minutes. Then add fried cashews & Raisins to that. Our Rice Kheer is ready to serve . Garnish with few pieces of pista to that. It can be served chill or hot. Boondi Laddoo/ பூந்தி லட்டு/Boondi Ladoo recipe/ boondi laddu



Ingredients: கடலை மாவு / Bengalgram powder/ Besan - 5 cups ( ratio is for 1 cup of besan 1.25 cup of sugar) ( water for sugar syrup is 1/2 the quantity of sugar) சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 6 1/4 cups தண்ணீர் / Water for syrup-3 cups & little more ஏலக்காய் /Cardomom - 15 முந்திரிப்பருப்பு / Cashews- 15 ஜாதிக்காய் / Nutmeg powder- 1 tsp கிராம்பு / Cloves- 15 அரிசி மாவு / Rice flour -2 tsp சமையல் சோடா/ Baking Soda - 1 pinch திராட்சை/ Kismiss - 15 நெய் / ghee - to fry எண்ணை/ oil - to fry Boondi குங்குமப்பூ / kesar - little Food orange color/ Kesari powder- little Method: Sieve the Bengal gram flour nicely. Fry cashews & kismiss and keep aside Heat the sugar with water in a broad vessel. Mix it nicely and add 1 tsp of milk to that to take out the impurities in sugar. Boil the syrup to 1 string consistency. Add cardomom powder & food color & mix it. Mix the Bengal gram flour with 1 tsp of rice flour& a pinch of soda with water nicely so that it becomes a nice batter. Heat oil in a Kadhai. Pour the batter in a boondhi plate on top of oil and tap so that it comes out evenly.( every time wash the bottom of the plate with water so that all boondhi comes out in round shape) Fry all boondhi and add in sugar syrup and mix. Add nutmeg powder, cashews, cloves, kismiss and cardomom powder to the boondhi sand mix altogether upside down. Cool it nicely and make laddoos out of that. Our yummy boondhi laddoos are ready. Rava pottu kadalai Urundai / Rava Roasted Gram laddoo/Sooji Bhuna Chana laddoo recipe



Ingredients: சிறிய ரவா / Small nice Rava/ sooji - 2 cups சர்க்கரை பொடி/ Sugar powder- 2 cups பொட்டுக்கடலை பொடி/ Roasted gram powder- 2 cups நெய் / ghee- 1 1/2 cups ஏலக்காய் பொடி/ Cardomom powder- 1 /2 tsp முந்திரிப்பருப்பு / Cashews- 15 திராட்சை / kismiss- 15 Method: Roast cashews& Raisins in 3 tsps of ghee. Roast Rava in 3 tsps of ghee nicely till we get a roasted smell and light brown. Keep the Rava in a bowl . Add roasted gram flour & sugar. Add cashews & Raisins to that. Mix it well. Heat ghee in a pan nicely Then add the hot ghee to that and mix thoroughly. Cool it well and make laddoos out of that and serve. Yummy Laddoos are ready. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!

Paal Poli / Milk Poli / how to make Rava Milk Poli / Sooji Milk Poli / Rava Paal Poli


Ingredients: சிறிய ரவா /Nice Rava - 1 cup ( 200 gms) சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 1 cup பால் / Milk - 1/2 liter ஏலக்காய் / Cardomom- 1/2 tsp குங்குமப்பூ / Kesar- little பிஸ்தா / Pistachio - 6 எண்ணை / Oil - to fry நெய் / Ghee - 2 to 3 tsp Knead the Rava with little water and keep aside like Chapathi consistency dough. Add Little more than 1/2 cup of water in sugar and keep in a medium flame to dissolve sugar nicely and becomes sticky. Then switch off the flame. Make small balls of Rava and make in round shapes like Chapathi. Fold & seal the edges with water in half so that it looks like 1/2 circle. Heat oil in pan with ghee. Fry the pooris and soak in sugar syrup for 5 minutes. Heat milk in a pan ,add cardamom, saffron milk and pour the milk on top of puris to soak. Add cut pistas on top. Roasted Poha chivda recipe/ அவல் மிக்சர் / Flattened rice mixture/

Ingredients அவல் / flattened rice/ Poha- 1/2 kg பொட்டுக்கடலை / roasted Chana dal / Dalia-2 cups வறுத்த வேர்க்கடலை/ roasted peanuts🥜 - 2 cups உப்பு/ Salt - to taste சீரகப்பொடி/ jeera powder- 1 tsp கொத்தமல்லிவிரைப்பொடி/ dhaniya powder- 1 tsp மஞ்சள்பொடி/ turmeric powder-1 tsp கசகசா/ Khuskhus- 2 tsp பச்சைமிளகாய் / green chili- 5 கருவேப்பிலை/ curry leaves- little மிளகாய்பொடி/ chili powder-1 tsp எண்ணை/ oil - 6 to 7 tbsp பெருங்காயம்/ asafoetida- 1 tsp Method: Keep poha in sun for drying. Dry fry poha in a kadhai for 5 minutes to make it crispy. Heat oil in a pan. Roast green chili nicely. Add asafoetida, curry leaves, groundnuts and Roasted Chana dal to that and fry. Add jeera powder,dhaniya powder, turmeric, and chili powder and mix. Add poha to that and mix nicely all over. Add salt and oil to that . Fry khuskhus in 1 tsp of oil and mix with poha. Our roasted poha chivda is ready. It can be prepared in 10 minutes time and v easy to make.
