Today I am going to present an excellent colocasia fry like we Tasted In South Indian marriages. It is very tasty, crispy fry & Can be served as aide Dish with rice.Try this & give your feedback Ingredients: சேப்பங்கிழங்கு / Colocasia- 1/2 kg உப்பு / Salt- to taste எண்ணை/ Oil- to fry கடலை மாவு / Bengal gram flour- 2 tbsps அரச மாவு / Rice flour - 2 tbsps ( instead of rice flour only corn flour or maids can be added) சோள மாவு / Corn flour- 2 tsps வறுத்த சீரகப்பொடி / Roasted cumin powder- 1/2 tsp மாங்காய் பொடி / Dry Mango powder- 1/2 tsp மஞ்சள் தூள் / Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp சிகப்பு மிளகாய் பொடி / Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp காஷ்மீரி மிளகாய் பொடி / Kashmiri chili powder- 1 tsp எண்ணை / oil - 2 tsp to add to the flour பெருங்காயம் / Asafetida - 1/4 tsp Method: Wash & dry colocasia. Pressure cook colocasia for 1 whistle. Once it is cooled take out the outer skin & cut them into slices. Take a bowl. Add Bengal gram, rice flour, asafetida, turmeric, red chili, Kashmiri chili powder, cumin powder & salt. Mix all nicely. Add sliced colocasia & coat the powder all over nicely. Rest the same for 25 to 30 minutes. After that, all colocasia slices are coated with the flour nicely. Heat oil in a kadhai. Put all pieces one by one in hot oil. Fry them till get a golden color in medium flame. Fry all in the same manner. Serve hot with fried curry leaves on top. Crispy, tasty colocasia fry is ready like we get in South Indian marriages. Ingredients: கடலைப்பருப்பு / Bengal gram- 1 cup துவரம்பருப்பு / Tuvar Dal / Pigeon lentil- 1/2 cup உளுத்தம்பருப்பு / Split black lentil / Ulad Dal- 1/4 cup உப்பு / Salt - to taste இஞ்சி / Ginger- 1 inch sliced பெருங்காயம் / Asafetida- 1/4 tsp சிகப்பு மிளகாய் / Red chili- 5 கருவேப்பிலை / Curry leaves- little எண்ணை / Oil - to fry vadas கொத்தமல்லித்தழை / Coriander leaves- little வெங்காயம்/ Onion- 1 Method: Wash all dal thrice & soak in water for 2 hrs. After 2 hrs drain the water from dal in a strainer before grinding for vada. Take ginger, red chili, Asafetida, salt & curry leaves in a mixer jar. Add all dal & grind it to a coarse batter. ( then only vadas will be crisp) Add onion & coriander leaves& mix it nicely in the batter. (Instead of onion we can add cabbage or any vegetable of your choice with the batter & make vadas) Heat oil in kadhai. Make small balls equally with the batter & keep it ready. When the oil is hot make small vadas by pressing in hand and fry in hot oil in medium flame. Make all vadas & serve hot with tomato ketchup. These vadas are crispy outside & soft inside. Pasi Paruppu Dosai/Moong Dal Dosa Recipe/How to make Mung Dal Dosa without Rice/Mung lentils Dosa


 

#PasiParuppuDosai#MoongDalDosa#DosaMadeWithoutDal#RanjisFlavours Ingredients: பாசிப்பருப்பு / Green gram lentil- 2 cups இஞ்சி / Ginger- 1 inch sliced பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 6 to 7 பெருங்காயத்தூள்/ Asafetida- 1/4 tsp கருவேப்பிலை / Curry leaves- little கொத்தமல்லித்தழை / Coriander leaves- little எண்ணை / Oil- to make dosa Method: Wash the mung dal thrice & soak in water for 2 hrs. After 2 hrs grind the dal with green chili, ginger, salt, curry leaves & Asafetida to a fine paste. Rest the batter for 30 minutes. Heat Dosa Tawa. Make dosa in a thin form & pour oil around & in a medium flame. Flip to the other side and let it get roasted. Place butter on top of Dosa & serve hot with yummy chutney. Make chutney with mint, groundnut, roasted Bengal gram, green chili & salt. Bun Dosa/ How to make Bun Dosa/ Easy & Soft Bun Dosa Recipe

Ingredients: For making Bun dosa batter: பச்சரிசி / Raw Rice- 2 cups துருவிய தேங்காய் / Grated coconut- 1 cup வெந்தயம் / Fenugreek- 1 tsp சன்ன அவல் / Thin Poha- 1 cup For making chutney: துருவிய தேங்காய் / Grated fresh coconut- 1/2 cup உப்பு / Salt- to taste பொட்டுக்கடலை / Roasted gram- 2 tbsps கொத்தமல்லித்தழை/ Coriander leaves- little பச்சை மிளகாய் / green chili-2 Take all these ingredients in a mixer jar & grind to a paste. Our chutney is ready. Make tempering with mustard, 1 red chili & curry leaves. Method to make bun Dosa: Wash & soak raw rice for 4 hrs , so also Methi. After 4 hrs grind to a nice batter & keep aside. Wash Poha twice . Grind the same with grated coconut to a paste & mix it with the batter thoroughly with hand. Ferment the same for 6 hrs. After 6 hrs we can make bun Dosa. Heat Tawa . Take a laddle of batter & make dosa without spreading the batter. It should be thick. Pour oil around & cover with a lid. After 2 minutes flip to the other side. Make all Dosa in the same way & serve hot with chutney. This Bun dosa can be prepared in a Kadhai also. #TomatoKorma#ThakkaliKurumaRecipe#How to make TomatoKorma#RanjisFlavours Ingredients: தக்காளி / Tomato- 3 வெங்காயம் / Onion- 2 பூண்டு / Garlic- 4 to 5 பிரிஞ்சி இலை / Brinji leaves-1 எண்ணை / Oil - 3 to 4 tsps தேங்காய் / grated coconut- 4 tbsps பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 2 உப்பு / Salt- to taste சோம்பு / Saunf- 1/2 + 1/2 tsp கச கசா / kus kus- 3/4 tsp கருவேப்பிலை / Curry leaves- little கொத்தமல்லி / Coriander leaves- little சீரகப்பொடி / Cumin powder- 1/4 tsp மஞ்சள் தூள் / Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp Method: Grind grated coconut, green chilli & saunf to a nice paste & keep it Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add Brinji leaves, saunf & garlic. Sauté nicely & then add onion. After onion gets soft add tomatoes & fry. Add turmeric powder , cumin powder & mix. Add 1 cup of water to that. Cook the same with lid covered for 4 minutes. After it gets cooked add the ground coconut paste to that & mix. Add water again to check the desired consistency. Boil the same for 2 minutes & switch off the flame. Yummy tomato Korma is ready to serve . Add coriander leaves on top. This is the excellent side dish for Palappam, roti , puri , Paratha or pulao. Perfect Palappam Recipe/How to make Soft Palappam/Kerala famous Palappam Recipe/Appam recipe

Ingredients: பச்சரிசி/ Raw rice-2 cups உப்பு / Salt- to taste ஈஸ்ட் / Yeast- 1 pinch தண்ணீர் / Water- 1.25 cups துருவிய தேங்காய் / grated Coconut 🥥- 1/2 Method: Wash rice thrice & soak in water for 4 hrs. Drain the water & grind rice to a nice batter. Take 3 tbsps separately in a vessel. Then grind the remaining rice with coconut to a nice paste. Cook the 3 tbsps of batter which is kept separately by adding 1/2 cup of water. After cooling the same add one cup of cooked rice to that & grind to a nice paste. Mix all the batter in a bowl with salt by hand nicely. Then add a pinch of yeast & mix together. Keep this for 8 hrs to get fermented. Mix it nicely & add 1 tsp of sugar & mix it before making appam. Then the batter is ready to make Palappam. Heat an Appam Kadai. Grease with a little oil using tissue paper. Pour the Appam batter in the middle of the kadhai. Rotate the kadhai in a round manner to spread the batter evenly. Close the Kadhai with a lid for 2 to 3 minutes. After 3 min opens the lid. We can take out the Appam very easily by hand. Make all Appam in this way. Serve hot Appam with vegetable stew or coconut milk or tomato korma which are very tasty as a side dish.
