பாசிப்பருப்பு சுண்டல்/ Moong dal Sundal/ Split green gram Sundal/ Navarathri special Sundal recipe






#பாசிப்பருப்புசுண்டல்#MoongDalSundal#NavrathriSundalRecipe Ingredients: பாசிப்பருப்பு / Split green gram - 1 cup பச்சை மிளகாய் / green chilli- 2 சிவப்பு மிளகாய் / red chilli-1 கருவேப்பிலை/ Curry leaves- little பெருங்காயம்/ Asafoetida- 1/4 tsp கடுகு / Mustard- 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - to taste தேங்காய் / grated coconut 🥥- 1/2 cup எண்ணை/ oil - 2 tsp மஞ்சள் பொடி/ turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp Method: Wash and soak moong dal for 1/2 an hour. Cook it in a open vessel by adding water.( this should not be cooked in cooker) Keep it in a medium flame and cook the same till it gets little soft. It should not be over cooked. Then drain the water and cool. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan. Add mustard, asafoetida, green chili & curry leaves to that. Then add cooked moong dal,turmeric powder & salt. Mix nicely and then add grated coconut to that. Give it a nice mix and our Sundal is ready. அரிசி வெல்ல புட்டு / Rice jaggery Puttu / Navrathri Special Puttu/SweetRiceJaggeryPuttuRecipe




#அரிசிவெல்லபுட்டு#RiceJaggeryPuttu#SweetRiceJaggeryPuttuRecipe Ingredients: அரிசி மாவு / Rice flour- 1 cup வெல்லம்/ jaggery- 3/4 cup கேசரி பவுடர் / Orange Kesari colour- 1/4 tsp ஏலக்காய் / cardamom powder (5 to6) முந்திரிப்பருப்பு / Cashews- 7 உலர்ந்த திராட்சை/ Kismis- 8 துருவிய தேங்காய் / grated coconut- 1 tbsp தண்ணீர் / Water - 1/2 cup நெய் / ghee - 2 tsp Method: Wash rice, drain water & make powder in a mixer. Sieve it and keep aside. Heat 1/2 cup of water in a pan. Add pinch of salt & Kesari colour to that and mix. The water to be just hot when we touch by hand. Keep the rice flour in a plate. Add the water little by little so that u get a correct consistency. ( it should be like as shown in video) Mix it slowly and sieve the same nicely. Rice flour to be steamed in a steamer for 5 to 7 minutes and after that it should be COOLED nicely. Roast cashews & kismis in a tadka pan in 1 tsp of ghee and keep aside. Add little water to jaggery and heat it till we get Pak consistency. It should be a thick Pak. Keep water in a plate and put little Pak in that.it should be a thick one to roll it. Pour the Pak in rice flour and mix it slowly to absorb all jaggery. When it is cool we can do it by hand to have a nice puttu. Add cashews, kismis & 1 tsp of ghee to that and mix nicely. Our rice jaggery puttu is ready for Navarathri pooja. #வெள்ளை கொண்டைக்கடலை சுண்டல்#ChickpeaSundal#NavrathriSundalRecipe Ingredients: வெள்ளை கொண்டைக்கடலை/ chickpea- 1 cup கடுகு / Mustard- 1/2 tsp உளுத்தம்பருப்பு / Split black dal/ Ulad dal- 1/2 tsp கருவேப்பிலை/ curry leaves- little துருவிய இஞ்சி / Grated Ginger- little பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 2 தேங்காய் / grated coconut 🥥-1 சிவப்பு மிளகாய் / Red chilli- 2 எண்ணை/ oil- 2 to 3 tsp மஞ்சள் பொடி/ turmeric powder- 1 tsp (Powder of roasted Chana dal, coriander seeds & red chilli) This is to be made prior hand. Method: Wash & soak chickpeas overnight. Cook chickpeas in a cooker by adding salt & little water to that for 7 to 8 whistles. ( soaked water of chickpeas should not be thrown) Type 1 Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard Ulad dal, curry leaves & then add cooked chickpeas and mix nicely. Add little turmeric powder, little salt . Then add grated ginger& green chilli & grated coconut Chickpea Sundal is ready Type 2 Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add mustard, ulad dal, red chili,curry leaves & add cooked chickpeas. Add little salt, turmeric powder, the powder ( Chana dal, coriander seeds & red chili) grated coconut & give it a nice mix. Chickpea Sundal is ready to serve. These two types of chickpea Sundal is very tasty and made for Navarathri & highly nutritious. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!
