ரவா பாசிப்பருப்பு வச்சு சூப்பரான lunchbox recipe/Rava mungdal cheela/How to make rava mungdal cheela

Ingredients: பாசிப்பருப்பு / green Mung dal- 1 cup மெல்லிய ரவை / Nice Rava- 1/2 cup தயிர் / Curd- 1/2 cup வெங்காயம் / Onion- 1 துருவிய காரட் / Grated carrot- 1 கொத்தமல்லித்தழை / Coriander leaves- 3 tbsps பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 4 ( can skip if u prepare for children) சீரகம் / Cumin ( jeera )- 1 tsp மஞ்சள்தூள் / Turmeric- 1/2 tsp மிளகாய்தூள் / Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - to taste பட்டாணி / Frozen peas- 3 tbsps எண்ணை / Oil - to roast cheela Method: Wash & soak mung dal for 5 hrs. After 5 hrs drain the water from dal & make a nice paste out of that without adding water. Keep aside. Soak rava in 1/2 of thick curd for 30 minutes after mixing the same nicely. After that add soaked rava in the mung dal batter & mix thoroughly. Add onion, carrots, coriander, salt, turmeric, green chili & red chili powder. Mix well & the batter is ready now. Heat a grill pan & grease the same with oil. ( can make in ordinary tava also)Spread the batter in a rectangular shape evenly & add oil. Cover the same & cook well till we get golden colour. After 4 minutes flip to the other side & roast it. Make all cheelas like that & serve with Kadhi ( Mir kuzhambu) or tomato ketchup or green chutney. Can cut the same in pieces & can pack in lunchbox. காளான் மசாலா/Restaurant style Mushroom butter masala curry in Tamil/How to make mushroom masala

Ingredients: காளான் / Mushroom-300 gms வெங்காயம் / Onion- 2 ( finely chopped) தக்காளி / Tomatoes- 2 ( finely chopped) இஞ்சி பூண்டு விழுது / Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp மஞ்சள் தூள் / Turmeric powder- 1/2 + 1/2 tsp தனியா & சீரகத்தூள் / Coriander & cumin powder- 1/2 + 1/2 tsp மிளகாய் தூள் / Chili powder- 1/2 tsp காஷ்மீரி மிளகாய் தூள் / Kashmiri chili powder- 1/2 tsp தயிர் / Hung curd- 1/4 cup உப்பு / Salt - to taste கொத்தமல்லித்தழை / Coriander leaves- little எண்ணை / Oil - 3 tbsps சீரகம் / Jeera - 1 tsp பால் ஏடு / Milk cream - 2 tsps வெண்ணை / Butter- 2 tbsps பொடித்த முந்திரி / Powdered cashews- 1/4 cup பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 2 பிரிஞ்சி இலை / Brunei leaves- 1 ஏலக்காய் / Cardamom- 2 கிராம்பு / Cloves -2 பட்டை / Cinnamon- 1/2 inch Method: Step - 1 Wash mushrooms thrice & clean the black color on top. Cut it in halves. Take it in a bowl. Add salt, turmeric & hung curd. Mix well & marinate for 45 minutes. Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera Add onion, brinji leaves, cinnamon, clove & cardamom. Fry well till soft. Add tomatoes & fry. Add butter to that. Add salt, turmeric, chili , jeera & dhaniya powder. Then add marinated mushrooms & mix. Cook with a lid in medium flame till soft. Then add 1/2 cup of water & cook again for 5 minutes. Cook till all masalas together .lastly add kasoori methi & milk cream to get a enhanced taste in mushroom. Add coriander leaves on top & serve . மாம்பழத்தில் இது மாதிரி Dessert செய்யுங்க/Mango Phirni recipe in Tamil/How to make Mango phirni

Ingredients: பால் / Milk- 1/2 litre மாம்பழம் / Mango- 1 ஏலக்காய் / Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 2.5 tbsps பிஸ்தா துண்டுகள் / Sliced pistachios- 2 tsp குங்கும்ப்பூ / Saffron- few strands Method: Wash mango & peel the skin. Cut in small pieces. Make pulp out of that. Wash & soak rice for 30 minutes. Then drain the water & grind the same in rava consistency. Keep it aside. Take milk in a Kadhai & boil the same by stirring for5 minutes. When it gets thickened add rice rava to the milk by stirring constantly so that rice lumps are not formed. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes till rice gets cooks nicely. Add cardamom powder & sugar. Mix well & keep it to cool. After cooling add the mango pulp slowly & mix altogether. Serve in cups. Add mango pieces & pistachios on top . Cool this phirni for 2 hours in refrigerator. Serve the same once it gets chilled. It is a very tasty dessert especially in summer & with mangoes.
