பருப்பு துவையல்/Tuvar dal chutney/Split pigeon pea chutney/ பருப்பு தொகையல் செய்வது எப்படி

Ingredients: துவரம்பருப்பு / Toor dal- 1/2 cup சிகப்பு மிளகாய் / Red chilli- 2 உப்பு / Salt - To taste பெருங்காயம்/ Asafoetida-1/4 tsp எண்ணை/ oil - to fry (We can make this chutney by other method also by adding grated coconut or pepper or garlic according to your taste) Method: Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan. Add Asafoetida, red chilli & split pigeon dal and fry till we get a roasted brown color in a medium flame. Cool the same and grind to a paste by adding salt with that. While grinding , the dal to be powdered nicely and then add water to that and grind so that we get a nice & soft chutney. If we add water first , it will not grind properly. Our Toor dal chutney is ready to eat with hot rice & ghee. The best combination with this is Pepper Kuzhambu.
