குதிரைவாலி அரிசி வச்சு அசத்தலான ரெசிபி செய்யலாமா/Barnyard millet veggies balls in appam pan

Ingredients: குதிரைவாலி அரிசி சிறு தானியம் / Barnyard millet Bhagar -1 cup பாசிப்பருப்பு / Mung dal- 1/2 cup பச்சை மிளகாய்/ green chili- 2 இஞ்சி/ Ginger - 1 inch grated உப்பு / Salt - 1 tsp பெருங்காயம்/ Asafetida - 1/4 tsp எண்ணெய் / Oil - to cook வெங்காயம்/ Onion - 1 finely chopped காரட்/ Carrot - 1 grated கொத்தமல்லி இலை/ Coriander leaves- little பச்சை பட்டாணி/ Fresh green peas - 150 gms Method: Wash & clean barnyard millet & soak it overnight. Wash mung dal & soak it for 1 hour. Grind green peas, chili, Asafetida, ginger, mung dal & salt to a coarse paste. Grind soaked millet separately to a fine paste. Mix both with onion, coriander leaves, carrots nicely to a batter. Correct the consistency by adding water. Heat appam pan & grease with oil. Take the batter in small laddle & fill it with batter. Oil them & close it with a lid for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn to the other side & roast it in medium flame. Repeat the same for 2 nd batch also. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or any chutney of your choice. I have served with idly podi. #millet #milletsrecipe #milletballs#சிறுதானியம் #சிறுதானிய Ingredients: கோதுமை மாவு / Wheat flour- 1 cup ( 1/4 cup measure) ராகி மாவு /Finger millet - 1 cup கம்பு மாவு / pearl millet/ Bajra- 1 cup சோள மாவு / Sorghum/ Jowar - 1 cup (Instead of wheat flour we can take rice flour or gram flour) உப்பு / Salt - to taste வெங்காயத்தாள்/ Spring onion- 100 gms துருவிய காரட் / Grated Carrot - 3 tbsps மஞ்சள்தூள்/ Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp சீரகத்தூள்/ Cumin powder- 1 tsp மிளகாய் தூள்/ Chili powder- 1 tsp எண்ணெய்/ Oil - 2 tsps For chutney: எண்ணெய்/ Oil - 3 tsps கடலைப்பருப்பு/ Bengal gram - 2 tsps உளுத்தம்பருப்பு/ Ulad dal - 1 tsp மிளகாய்/ Red chili - 1 கருவேப்பிலை/ Curry leaves- little தக்காளி / Tomato- 1 உப்பு / Salt - little Method: Take all flours in a plate. Add salt, spring onion & grated carrots. Add turmeric, chili & cumin powder. Mix well . Then add warm water to make a soft dough. Rest it for 10 minutes. Take oil in a pan. Add bengal gram, Ulad dal & fry. When it is fried add onion, tomato, salt & curry leaves. Fry all of them and cool the same. Once it is cooled add the same in mixer grinder & make coarse chutney. Add mustard & curry leaves in tadka pan & add tempering on top of chutney. Our yummy chutney is ready now. After 10 minutes of rest take the dough in hand after applying oil in palm. Roll out the small portion of dough nicely & make small balls in cylindrical form. Roll all the dough. Heat water in a kadhai & steam the rolled dough & cook for 10 minutes. After cooling cool the same completely. Take oil in a pan. Add mustard, Asafoetida powder, cumin , turmeric & curry leaves. Lastly add sesame & roast it nicely. Then add the millet balls to that & mix well. Keep it for 2 minutes with a lid. Our yummy millets balls will be ready. Serve the same with tasty chutney for dinner.
