Thattai Recipe in Tamil / How to make Thattai/தட்டை செய்முறை/Rice flour snack Thattai in Tamil

#ThattaiRecipeInTamil#HowToMakeThattai#தட்டைசெய்முறை Ingredients: அரிசி மாவு / Rice flour- 2 cup உளுந்து மாவு / Ulad dal flour- 2 1/2 tsp உப்பு தண்ணீர் / Salt soaked in water - to taste பெருங்காயம் / Asafoetida- 1/2 tsp ஊற வைத்த கடலைப்பருப்பு / Soaked Bengalgram- 2 tbsps வெண்ணை / Butter - 2 tsp எண்ணை / Oil - To Fry எள் / Sesame - 1 tsp கருவேப்பிலை/ Curry leaves - little Method: Wash & soak rice for 1 hr. Drain the water and grind in a mixer. Sieve the rice flour twice and make nice flour out of it. Dry fry Ulad dal till it becomes light brown color without oil. Make nice powder out of it & keep it aside. Soak salt, asafetida & Bengalgram separately . Take 2 cups of rice flour in a bowl. Add salt water, soaked Bengal gram, butter, asafetida water ,curry leaves and sesame to that. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and pour in the flour. Mix everything nicely to a nice dough. Take banana leaf and crease it with oil OR we can take some plastic sheet. Take small balls of the dough and place it in leaf and make it flat in round shape. Heat oil in kadhai and drop all thattai in oil and fry till light brown. Our Rice flour Thattai is ready to serve. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!
