Ingredients:
பேபி உருளைக்கிழங்கு / Baby potato - 1/2 kg
கடலை மாவு / Bengal gram flour- 2 tbsp
கடுகு/ mustard- 1/2 tsp
உளுத்தம்பருப்பு / Ulad dal- 1/2 tsp
கருவேப்பிலை/ Curry leaves- little
கொத்தமல்லிவிரை பொடி/ Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
சீரகப்பொடி/ Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
மிளகாய் பொடி / Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
உப்பு / Salt- to taste
எண்ணை/ oil - to fry
மஞ்சள் பொடி/ turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Method:
Wash & cook baby potatoes by adding little salt to that. Peel the skin and keep aside.
Take potatoes in a bowl. Add salt , turmeric powder, Jeera powder, Dhaniya powder, bengal gram flour & little oil to that and mix nicely. Rest it for 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add mustard, ulad dal, curry leaves and then potatoes. Mix it nicely and fry in low medium flame till it gets a golden colour and roast nicely. It will take atleast 20 min to fry in roasted form. Then our baby potatoes fry will be ready and can be served with rice.
