ஆரஞ்சுத்தோல் தொகையல்/Orange peel chutney/orange skin chutney


Ingredients: ஆரஞ்சு தோல்/ orange peels- 1 orange 🍊 (loose jacket) வெங்காயம் / onion- 1 கடலைப்பருப்பு/ Bengalgram- 1 tsp உளுத்தம்பருப்பு / Ulad dal- 2 tsp பெருங்காயம்/ asafoetida- 1/4 tsp உப்பு / salt - to taste சிகப்பு மிளகாய் / Red chilli- 2 Method: Peel the orange skin, clean wash and cut into small pieces. Cut onions . Fry Bengalgram, ulad dal,asafoetida & red chilli in 2 tsp of oil till brown. Fry onion for 2 minutes. Sauté orange peels by adding 2 tsp of water and close with a lid for 5 min in low flame till it becomes soft. Cool all the ingredients. Grind all masalas first ,then orange peels and lastly onion in a blender to make a smooth chutney. Our Orange peel chutney is ready to serve with hot rice and ghee.
