How to make Badam Burfi / Badam Burfi / பாதாம் பர்பி / Badam Katli/ Almond Burfi


Ingredients: பாதாம் பொடி/ Badam powder- 2 cup பால் பொடி / Milk powder- 1 cup சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 1 1/2 cups குங்குமப்பூ / Saffron- little(soaked in milk) பாதாம் துண்டுகள் / Badam slices- 2 tsp பிஸ்தா/ Pista - 2 tsp நெய் / Ghee - 3 tsp ஏலக்காய்/ Cardomom- 7 Method: Soak saffron in little hot milk. Keep sugar in a pan and add water. Keep in medium flame to make sugar syrup for 1 string consistency. After that add Badam powder,milk powder, saffron milk , Badam slices & cardamom powder. Stir nicely & add ghee to that it becomes v thick consistency and leaves the sides of the pan. It is ready to pour in to the pre greased pan with ghee. Make the mixture equally in the corners of the pan and add , spread the pista pieces and level it. Cut in squares when it becomes cool . Our Badam Burfi is ready to serve.
