Keerai Mor Kootu / Mor Keerai / Spinach coconut gravy subzi


Ingredients: பாலக் கீரை/ Spinach - 1/2 kg தேங்காய் / coconut 🥥- 1/2 பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili-7 சீரகம் / Cumin seeds- 1 tsp அரிசி / Rice - 1 tsp தயிர் / Curd- 1/2 cup கடுகு / Mustard - 1 tsp உளுத்தம்பருப்பு / Ulad dal- 1 tsp சிவப்பு மிளகாய் / Red chili- 1 உப்பு / Salt- To taste Method: Wash & cut spinach. Take spinach in a pan,add salt & water to cook. Keep it in a medium flame and cook. Grind coconut, green chilli, soaked rice and cumin in a blender and keep aside.After the spinach is cooked add the coconut paste to that and let it boil for 2 minutes . Our Keerai Mor Kootu is ready to serve. Heat 1 tsp of oil. Add mustard, ulad dal & red chilli to that and add in spinach as tempering. This recipe takes only 10 minutes to prepare ,very easy & tasty one. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!
