Ingredients: роЕро░ிроЪி /Rice - 1/2 cup роОро▓ுрооிроЪ்роЪроо்рокро┤роо் / Lemon ЁЯНЛ-1 ( juice 3 to 4 tsp as per taste) роОрог்рогை /Oil - 3 tsp роХроЯுроХு / mustard seeds - 1 tsp рокроЯро▓ைрок்рокро░ுрок்рокு / Bengalgram-1tsp рокெро░ுроЩ்роХாропроо் / asafoetida- 1/2 tsp рокроЪ்роЪை рооிро│роХாроп் / green chillies- 2 to 3( as per taste) роЪிро╡рок்рокு рооிро│роХாроп் / red chilli-1 роХро░ுро╡ேрок்рокிро▓ை / curry leaves- 2 tsp роЙрок்рокு / salt - as per taste ро╡ெрои்родропрок்рокொроЯி / fenugreek powder / methi powder - 1/2 tsp роороЮ்роЪро│் рокொроЯி /Turmeric powder - 1 tsp or 1/2 tsp Method: Wash rice and add 1 1/2 cups of water and cook. Heat oil in Kadhai. Add mustard. When it crackles add Bengalgram, asafoetida, methi powder,green chilli , turmeric powder, and curry leaves and switch off the flame.Take out the kadhai from the flame.Add salt in that. When it cools add lemon juice to that and let it be for 10 minutes so that the Bengal gram soaks in juice. Cool the cooked rice add 1 tsp of sesame oil ( if u don’t have sesame oil , the same cooking oil can be used). After it cools add the rice with mixture and mix it nicely. Our lemon rice is ready to serve with papad, or potato chips. Tip: when u take the lemon juice from lemon add little salt in a cup and then extract the juice. It should be in salt otherwise lemon juice will become bitter.
