Ingredients:
வெந்தயக்கீரை/fenugreek leaves -1/2 kg (cleaned ,cut ,dried)
உருளைக்கிழங்கு/potato/. -2
வெங்காயம்/onion -2
தக்காளி/Tomato -2
கடுகு/Mustard seeds -1 tsp
சீரகம்/ cumin seeds/jeera -1tsp
மஞ்சள் பொடி/Turmeric powder -1tsp
மிளகாய்பொடி/chilli powder -1 tsp
Salt To taste
Bengal gram powder -3 tsp
Oil - 5 tsp
Method: Heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,onion & potato.Mix nicely, add fenugreek leaves(methi) .Add salt, turmeric powder,chilli powder and sauté with closed lid till potato becomes soft. Add tomatoes and sauté for 2 to 3 min.Add Bengal gram powder and mix it and serve.
Tips: curry becomes soggy if fenugreek leaves are wet and it should be dry before making.
