Quick almond barfi with Almond flour/How to make Badam Katli/Easy Badam Katli (blanched badam flour)


 

#badam #badambarfi #almondbarfi#badamkatli#badam Ingredients: பாதாம் மாவு / Badam flour- 2 cups சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 1 cup ( if need can take 1.25 cups as per taste) தண்ணீர் / Water - 1/2 cup ஏலக்காய் பொடி / Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp நெய் / Ghee - 3 tbsps Method: Take sugar in Kadhai & add water. Boil sugar syrup till we get a sticky consistency ( before 1 string consistency) keep flame in medium flame. Then add badam flour & mix well in medium flame without break. Add ghee in between & mix till we get a rolling consistency of the mixture. Take a small portion on a plate, cool & then see whether the mixture can be rolled easily. Then we can switch off the flame & mix till it gets cooled. Take parchment paper & grease the same with ghee. Add the mixture and roll nicely to get it cooled & becomes like a dough ( roti atta dough) Then spread the same with a rolling pin to the desired thickness. Keep silver foil on top if desired. This is optional. Then cut in the desired shape. Square or diagonal shape to make Katli. Store it in a box & serve. This is an easy way of making Badam Katli with Badam flour.
