#cornrecipe #corn#appam#appamrecipe #instantappam Ingredients: சோளம் / Corn 🌽- 1 ( take out the kernels separately) ரவா / Rava / Sooji- 1.25 cups மோர் / Buttermilk- 1.25 cups உப்பு / Salt - 1 tsp மஞ்சள்தூள் / Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp காரட் / Carrot - 1/4 cup ( finely chopped) வெங்காயம் / Onion- 1/4 cup ( finely chopped) பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 6 to 7 கொத்தமல்லி / Coriander leaves- 2 tbsps மிளகாய் பொடி / Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp ஈனோ / Eno salt - 1/2 tsp எண்ணை / Oil - to make corn appam Any veggies of your choice can be added Method: Take rava in a bowl & add buttermilk to that & mix well. Rest it for 15 minutes. Grind half of the corn in mixer grinder to a paste. After 15 minutes add the corn paste to rava & add remaining corn kernels to it. Add onion, green chili, carrots, salt, turmeric powder , coriander leaves & red chili powder. Mix all together nicely. Heat appam pan & grease with oil. Before making appam add 1/2 tsp of eno & mix well. Fill up the batter in appam pan with a spoon & pour oil. Cover it & cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Flip the same & roast it on other side also. Make other appams also in next batch. Crispy & tasty corn appam is ready to serve with tomato ketchup. This is very healthy snack item & can have in lunchbox also for kids.
