Vendakkai Fry / Lady’s finger fry / Bhindi fry / வெண்டைக்காய் ரோஸ்ட்


Ingredients: வெண்டைக்காய் /Lady’s finger/ Bhindi - 1kg அரிசி மாவு / Rice flour - 1 tbsp கடலை மாவு/Bengalgram flour/Besan- 3tbsp கடுகு / mustard- 1/2 tsp சீரகம் / Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp பெருங்காயம்/ Asafoetida- 1/4 tsp மஞ்சள் பொடி / Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp மிளகாய் பொடி / chilli powder- 1/2 tsp சீரகப்பொடி / cumin powder- 1/2 tsp மாங்காய் பொடி / Aamchur powder/ dry mango powder- 1/2 tsp கொத்தமல்லிவிரை பொடி/ coriander powder- 1/2 tsp உப்பு / salt- to taste எண்ணை / oil - 3 to 4 tbsp Method: Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard Jeera and Bhindi. Mix it . Add salt, asafoetida, turmeric powder, cumin powder, Coriander powder and dry mango powder. Add 1 tsp of water mix it nicely and cover with a lid in medium flame. After it cooks add chilli powder. Add rice flour & Bengalgram flour and keep for 5 more minutes, so that the Bhindi fries nicely. Our Bhindi fry is ready to serve with rice, chapati,phulkas & Puri.
