உளுந்து கொழுக்கட்டை / Ulad dal Modak / உப்பு கொழுக்கட்டை / Black gram lentils Dumplings


Ingredients: உளுத்தம்பருப்பு / Ulad dal- 1 cup பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chilli- 3 பெருங்காயம்/ Asafoetida- 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - To taste கருவேப்பிலை/ Curry leaves- little Method: Wash and soak ulad dal for 1 hr. Grind dal with salt, green chili & asafoetida to a coarse paste. Keep it in a plate and cook for 10 minutes in steam. Season with mustard & curry leaves. Make it into Puran with hand when it becomes cool. Our Ulad dal Puran is ready to fill in rice dough cups for making Modak.
