Coconut Kheer/Arisi Thengai Payasam/ Quick coconut rice kheer



Ingredients: துருவிய தேங்காய் / Grated Coconut- 2 tablespoons அரிசி/ Rice - 2 tsp பால் / Milk - 1 cup சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 1/4 cup முந்திரிப்பருப்பு / Cashews- 7 திராட்சை / Raisins- 7 நெய் / Ghee - 2 tsp Method : Fry cashews & Raisins in ghee and keep aside. Wash & soak rice for 15 minutes. Add coconut & soaked rice in a blender and make a paste by adding water . Take this paste in a vessel and cook in a medium flame. Constantly stir this mixture and cook the rice by adding little water in between, so that lumps will not be there at the bottom of the vessel. After it is cooked add sugar and mix nicely. Keep it for2 to 3 minutes in a low flame. Add cardomom and milk to that. Add fried cashews & Raisins.
