பாலக் கீரை பூரி / Palak Poori

Green Healthy Pooris Are Ready



Ingredients: பாலக் கீரை/Spinach leaves /palak leaves 1/2 kg(washed) கோதுமை மாவு/ wheat flour/Atta 2 cups கடலை மாவு/gram flour. 3 tsp உப்பு/Salt To taste சீரகப்பொடி/cumin powder 1/2 tsp ஓமம்/ carrom seeds/ajwain 1/2 tsp மஞ்சள் பொடி/Turmeric powder/haldi -1/2 tsp மிளகாய் பொடி/Chilli powder 1/2 tsp பச்சை மிளகாய்/Green chilli 2 Spinach is very rich in vitamin A & C and good for health. Method: Clean spinach and grind with green chilli in a mixer with little salt to a paste.Mix this paste with wheat flour, gram flour,salt,jeera powder,carrom seeds,turmeric powder,and make a dough,as we have added green chilli in the paste ,adding(red chilli powder is optional). Heat oil in a pan or Kadhai. Make small pooris by touching oil in hand and fry all pooris.Our hot green spinach poori is ready and it can be served with tomato pickle, mango,ketchup or lemon pickle.
