#frymes Ingredients: Making of rice flour for Vadam: Take 1 kg of rice. Wash it thrice & dry it in a cloth. After drying, add 150 gms of sabudhana to that. Mix well & make nice flour in the flour mill. அரிசி மாவு / Rice flour - 2 cups தண்ணீர்/ Water - 4.5 cups ( for 1 cup 2.25 cups of water) பச்சை மிளகாய் விழுது / Green chili paste- 3/4 tsp பெருங்காயப்பொடி / Asafetida powder - 1/4 tsp எண்ணை / Oil - 1 tsp உப்பு / Salt - 1 tsp எலுமிச்சம்பழ ஜூஸ்/ Lemon juice - 1/2 lemon juice Method: Boil 4.5 cups of water in a heavy-bottomed kadhai. Add rice flour slowly by stirring thoroughly. Keep the flame in medium. Keep it covered for 7 to 8 minutes by stirring in between. Then the dough is fully cooked. Take the dough on a plate & make it smooth, using your hands. Grease the press with oil, keep the "Thennnampoo Acchu" in that. Fill the Acchu press with dough & make small fryums like in a refrigerator mat. Can be cut with scissors or by hand into small pieces. Make all the dough like this. Dry all in the hot sun for 2 days. After 2 days the fryums are ready to fry. Heat oil in a kadhai & fry the vadam . It is so crispy & white in colour.
