#papad #papadrecipe #ravapapad #vadam #appalam Ingredients: மெல்லிசு ரவை / Nice Rava - 1/2 cup அரிசி மாவு / Rice flour- 2 tbsps தண்ணீர் / Water - 1.25 cups பச்சை மிளகாய் விழுது / Green chili paste - 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - 1/2 tsp எண்ணை / Oil - to fry Method : Make a nice powder of Rava & rice flour in a small mixer jar. Take that in a bowl. Heat water & add to Rava slowly, mix to make a nice dough. Boil water in a kadhai. Keep one stand on that. On top of that, keep one perforated plate for steaming. Keep the Rava mixture on the plate & steam it for 10 minutes with a lid. After 10 minutes, open the lid & keep it down. Transfer the same to a plate to cool. With a flat-bottom cup, mix the batter thoroughly to remove any lumps. Then make small balls and keep them in a bowl & cover them. Take Chapathi stone. Place 2 thick plastic sheets & grease them with ghee. Place the balls between them to flatten them, then use a roller to make a round papad. Slowly remove the top plastic & turn the papad in a drying mat & take out the plastic. If you want to cut it with a steel dabba to get a round shape. Make all papad in the same way. Dry all papads under the fan. After 4 hrs flip it to the other side. The next morning, we can dry it in the hot sun for 5 hrs. Our yummy papad will be ready to fry.
