Next day morning drain the water from rice & dal.Grind that with ginger, salt, green chili & Asafoetida. Grind it like nice rava consistency & keep it in a bowl. Add curry leaves, cumin & pepper powder. Mix nicely. Add little water & mix . The consistency of the batter should be like pouring. Heat oil in kadhai & pour batter with a ladle when the oil is hot. Fry it in medium flame. Flip it to the next side & fry till we get a golden color. Pour the next one after the first one cooks a little so that both doesn’t touch the sides. Make all the Dhuska’s & serve hot with potato peas sabzi as side dish. It will be of great taste. It will be soft inside & crispy outside. Using saffron gives more coolness to the body & give royal flavour to the recipe. So try this & enjoy! Ingredients: மாங்காய் / Raw mango- 3/4 kg வெல்லம் / Jaggery- 1 cup ஏலக்காய் பொடி/ Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp குங்கும்ப்பூ / Saffron- 15 strands ( soaked in water) Method: Wash & peel the skin of raw mango. Cut into pieces. Heat water in a vessel. When it is hot add mango pieces in that & keep the flame in medium. Let it boil for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, check the mango piece to see whether it is cooked or not. Then add jaggery to that & let it boil. After 3 minutes, when all the jaggery is dissolved, add cardamom powder & saffron to that. Switch off the stove & let the mangoes cool . After cooling, take the mango pieces in a mixer & grind it to a fine paste. Take the mango paste in a bowl . Beforehand, clean a glass bottle & dry it in the sun. Fill up the mango paste in bottles & store it in the refrigerator for 2 months. At the time of making juice, take the paste in glasses. Add water & ice cubes to that. Add saffron strands on top and serve it chilled. This juice is so healthy in the summer season when it is too hot. Saffron gives a super aroma & cooling for body. #ஆரோரூட்வடாம்#வடகம் #arrowroot #arrowrootpapad#papad #papadrecipes Ingredients: ஆரோரூட் பவுடர் / Arrowroot powder- 1 cup உப்பு / Salt - 1/4 tsp ஓம்ம் / carom seeds - 1/4 tsp சிகப்பு மிளகாய் தூள் / Red chili flakes- 1/4 tsp கொத்தமல்லித்தழை/ coriander leaves -1 tsp Method: Take arrowroot powder in a Kadhai & add 4 cups of water & mix it. Add salt, red chili flakes, coriander leaves & carom seeds to that. Mix well without any lumps. Add 4 cups of boiled water to that & mix well. Keep it on the stove & cook well for 10 to 12 minutes. Let it boil nicely. Switch off the stove. Then cool the same. Take the batter ina small spoon & make Vadam without spreading the same when ur is warm. Dry under fan for the 1 st day & in Sun on second day. Our arrowroot vadam is ready. It will be very white in color & crispy too. #springonionrecipe #springonions #sidedish #sabzi Ingredients: வெங்காயத்தாள்/ Spring onion- 1/2 kg உருளைக்கிழங்கு / Potato- 3 ( medium sized) தக்காளி / Tomato - 1 எண்ணை / oil - 4 tsps கடுகு / Mustard - 1 tsp சீரகம் / Cumin- 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - to taste சீரகத்தூள்/ Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp மிளகாய் பொடி/ Chili powder- 1/2 tsp மஞ்சள்தூள் / Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp Method: Wash & cut spring onions. Wash & cut potatoes & keep in water. Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add mustard, jeera. Then add spring onion & potatoes. Add salt, turmeric & mix. Cook all in a medium flame & sauté it nicely. When the potatoes are cooked, add tomatoes. Add cumin powder, chili powder & mix it well. After 3 minutes of sautéing our spring onion, our spring onion curry will be ready. Transfer into a bowl & serve. #ஜவ்வரிசி #sabudana #rings #sabudanarings#ringpapad#ranjisflavours Ingredients: ஐவ்வரிசி / Sabudana- 1 cup தண்ணீர்/ water - 4.5 cups உப்பு / Salt - 1/2 to 3/4 tsp ( vrat salt) Method: Wash Sabudana twice & soak it with 1 cup of water overnight. Morning open & check whether it is soaked nicely or not. Add 1/2+ 1/2 cup of water & grind it in a mixer grinder to a smooth paste. Take it in a Kadhai & add 2 cups of water & mix well. Cool the paste in a medium flame & mix well continuously with a wooden ladle. Add 1/2 of warm water again to keep the consistency correct. Cook it nicely for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool, the same. Take a piping bag with a nozzle to make ring papad. Otherwise, we can use a milk bag also. Fill the batter when it is a little warm. Tie the top with a rubber band. Make rings with the bag by pressing and holding at the bottom of the nozzle. After making, keep it under a fan for 3 hrs and then in the sun. Dry for 2 days, and Sabudana ring vada is ready. Anytime with tea or coffee, we can fry and take it. This can be kept in a lunchbox with any rice variety for kids. All will like it.
