Banana sweet wheat appam/ வாழைப்பழ இனிப்பு கோதுமை அப்பம்/ sweet wheat appam recipe



Ingredients: கோதுமை மாவு / Wheat flour- 1 cup வெல்லம்/ Jaggery - 1 cup பொடித்த ஏலக்காய் / cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp நெய் & எண்ணை / Ghee & oil mixed - to fry உப்பு / Salt - pinch தண்ணீர் / water - 1 cup வாழைப்பழம் / Banana- 1 Method: Take jaggery & dissolve in 1 cup of hot water. Mash banana & keep. Add jaggery water, cardamom, wheat flour& a pinch of salt to banana pulp and mix it nicely to a smooth paste.Rest it for 30 minutes. Heat Appam pan and crease it with ghee on all sides. Pour the batter in all and fry without h oil& ghee. When it becomes brown in color, turn the Appam to the other side and cook. Make all the Appam & serve with rabadi ( which is made of full cream milk & sugar) This will be a good combination with sweet appam. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!
