Ranjis Flavours: பூண்டு ரசம் / Garlic Rasam / Lasoon Rasam /Garlic Rasam appetizer



Ingredients:

பூண்டு / Garlic - 10 to 12

தக்காளி / Tomato 🍅- 2

சீரகம் / Cumin seeds/ Jeera- 1/2 tsp

மிளகு / pepper - 1/2 tsp

புளி / Tamarind- A small piece

உப்பு / Salt - To taste

கொத்தமல்லி / Coriander leaves- little

கடுகு / mustard- 1/2 tsp

நெய் / ghee - 1/2 tsp

Method:

Take tomato and cut into small pieces. Grind garlic,tomato, pepper, tamarind and cumin into a fine  Paste in mixer jar .
Add  the paste in a vessel & boil for 5 min till garlic cooks nicely.

Add some more water to Rasam consistency . Keep in the flame till u get froth on top of rasam. Add 1/2 tsp of ghee in pan & add mustard . Pour the mustard after it pops ,in the rasam.Add coriander leaves on top and our garlic rasam is ready to take as appetiser.
