பச்சைப்பயறு தோசை / Green Gram Dosa / Green Mung Dosa/ Pesarattu Receipe / பாசிப்பயறு தோசை



Ingredients: பச்சைப்பயறு / Green gram - 1 1/2 cups அரிசி / Rice - 1/4 cup ( If u want crispy green gram dosa , take 1/2 cup of rice. I have taken 1/4 cup for soft dosa) சிவப்பு மிளகாய் / Red chilli -2 பச்சை மிளகாய் /Green chilli- 4 பெருங்காயம் / Asafoetida- 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - To taste இஞ்சி / Ginger - a small piece கருவேப்பிலை / Curry Leaves- little வெங்காயம் / Onion - 1 ( cut in small pieces) Method: Wash green gram and soak it for 5 to 6 hrs. Wash rice and soak it . Add salt, red chilli, green chili , ginger & asafoetida in a mixer jar and grind. Add rice to that and grind nicely. Grind green gram separately and add to that mixture nicely . Mix the batter nicely and keep it for an hour. Heat Tawa and spread the batter nicely to prepare, Dosa. Pour oil on all side and flip. Our green Gram( Pesarattu) dosa is ready to serve with coconut chutney & sambar.
