Ingredients:
அவல் / Rice flakes / Poha - 1/2 cup
பால் / Milk - 400 ml
சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 1/4 cup
( As per taste can add more sugar)
ஏலக்காய் / Cardomom- 4 (powdered)
முந்திரிப்பருப்பு / Cashews -5
திராட்சை / Dry grapes - 5
நெய் / Ghee - 2 tsp
Method:
Add 2 tsp of ghee in a vessel and heat. Add cashews & dry grapes and fry it. Keep it aside.
In the same vessel fry rice flakes and fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add 200 ml of cold milk to that , in a medium flame to cook the rice flakes.
Boil the remaining 200 ml of milk and keep it aside.
After the rice flakes cook nicely add sugar to that and mix nicely. Keep it for 2 minutes to mix sugar nicely. Add cardomom powder and milk to that and it will be in a thick consistency.
At last add fried cashews and kismiss to that and transfer in a serving bowl. Our Rice flakes Kheer is ready to serve. Enjoy Ranjis Flavours!
