#kidarankai#picklerecipe #wildlemon Ingredients: கிடாரங்காய் / Wild citron - 2 உப்பு / Salt - 3 tbsps மஞ்சள்தூள்/ Turmeric powder- 2 tsps பெருங்காயம்/ Asafetida- 1 tsp காஷ்மீரி மிளகாய் தூள் / Kashmiri chili powder- 2 tsps மிளகாய்பொடி / Red chili powder- 2 tsps வெந்தயத்தூள் / Fenugreek powder- 1 tsp நல்லெண்ணை / Sesame oil - 4 tbsps கடுகு / Mustard- 1 tbsp Method: Wash Wild Citron & wipe it. Cut into small pieces. Add salt & turmeric powder. Keep it covered for 4 hrs. Heat oil in a kadhai. Add mustard & asafetida. When it fries, add turmeric powder & chili powder. Add the citron pieces to that. Mix it well on a medium flame. After 3 minutes, the oil will come up. You can switch off the flame & let it cool. If you want to preserve it for a long time outside at room temperature, you can add a pinch of sodium benzoate as well. Store it in a clean glass container. Enjoy Wild citron pickle with curd rice.
