ஜவ்வரிசி அடை/Sabudana thali peeth/Easy breakfast,dinner,vrat recipe/How to make javvarisi adai


 ஜவ்வரிசி / Sabudana- 1.5 cups

உப்பு / Salt- 1/2 tsp பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 4 சீரகம் / Cumin- 1tsp சீரகத்தூள் / Cumin powder- 1 tsp பெருங்காயம் / Asafetida- 1/2 tsp மிளகாய் பொடி / Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp கொத்மல்லித்தழை / Coriander leaves- 2 tbsps வறுத்த வேர்க்கடலை பொடி/ Roasted peanut powder - 3 tbsps மஞ்சள் தூள் / Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp எண்ணை / Oil - to roast உருளைக்கழங்கு / potato- 2 ( boiled) Method: Wash sabudana & soak the same with water for 4 hrs. The level of water should be the level of sabudana. Grate the boiled potatoes Add salt, asafetida,salt, green chili, coriander leaves, turmeric, chili powder, peanuts powder & grated potato to sabudana & mix well. Press it well to Mash the same. Take a plastic or banana leaf. Grease it with oil. Take a big ball of sabudana dough & flatten it in round shape. Make a hole in the middle. Heat tawa & place the adai by turning on the other side. Pour oil all over & roast it in medium flame with a lid. Turn to the other side & roast. Our sabudana adai is ready. Take 1 cup of curd. Add salt, roasted cumin powder & chili powder & mix. Ingredients: பன்னீர் / Paneer - 500 gms மிளகாய் தூள் / Chili powder- 1 tbsp குடை மிளகாய் /Green & yellow capsicum- 1/2 + 1/2 வெங்காயம் / Onion- 1 இஞ்சி பூண்டு விழுது / Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp உப்பு / salt- to taste பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 4( slit) சோள மாவு / Corn flour- 3 tbsps மிளகு பொடி / pepper powder - 1/2 tsp சோயா சாஸ் / Soya sauce- 1.5 tbsps for slurry + 3 tbsps to marinate மிளகாய் சாஸ் / Red chili sauce- 1.5 tbsps தக்காளி கெச்சப் / Tomato ketchup- 2 tbsps வெங்காயத்தாள் / Spring onions- 3 tbsps ( finely chopped) எண்ணை / Oil - 4 tbsps Method: Wash & cut paneer in big cubes. Mix chili powder in water. Add salt & add the chili paste to paneer & mix. Add corn flour & mix well. Keep it marinated for 15 minutes. Heat oil in pan. After 15 minutes add the paneer pieces in oil & roast it till we get golden color. Keep it separately. In the same oil add ginger garlic paste & sauté. Add green chili & onions. Then capsicum & let it get half cooked. Then add paneer pieces. Add all sauces & mix. Mix corn flour in water & make slurry. Add the slurry to paneer & mix well. All to be done in medium flame. Lastly add spring onions on top & serve hot. Our starter recipe chili paneer is ready to serve. பூப்போல மிருதுவான இடியாப்பம் செய்முறை/Rice Idiyappam recipe/How to make rice idiyappam at home

Ingredients: இடியாப்பம் மாவு / Rice flour - 1.5 cups எண்ணை or நெய் / oil or ghee- 1 tbsp உப்பு / Salt - 1/2 tsp கொதித்த தண்ணீர் / Boiled hot water- required amount of water to make the dough Preparation of coconut milk: துருவிய தேங்காய் / Grated coconut- 1 Method: Take grated coconut in mixer by adding 1/2 glass of water. Grind well & take out the coconut milk by straining the same. Again do the same to take out 2 nd milk. Add both & keep it aside. Coconut milk is ready . Method for making idiyappam: Boil water nicely. Take the rice flour ina bowl & add boiled water slowly & mix the flour thoroughly without lumps. Keep it closed for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take out the dough & knead nicely to make balls. Keep the dough un Murukku press by keeping the small hole plate in that. Squeeze it nicely in idly plate in round shape after applying little oil in plates. Steam water in cooker. Keep idly plates in cooker & steam it for 10 minutes. After cooling take out the idiappams & serve with coconut milk & jaggery. I have made curry with sprouts. Vegetable stew or korma will also be the best combination for idiyappam. பலாக்காய் மசியல்/Unripe jackfruit curry/No onion,garlic jackfruit dish/How to make palakkai masiyal


 சீரகம் / Cumin - 1/2 tsp

சிகப்பு மிளகாய் / Red chili-1 பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 2 இஞ்சி / Ginger- 1/2 inch( grated) கருவேப்பிலை / Curry leaves- little உப்பு / salt -to taste மஞ்சள் தூள் / Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp துருவிய தேங்காய் / Grated coconut- 3 to 4 tsps எலுமிச்சை ஜூஸ் / Lemon juice - 1/2 lemon கொத்தமல்லித்தழை / Coriander leaves- to garnish பெருங்காயம் / Asafetida- 1/4 tsp Method: Wash & cook cur jackfruit in cooker after adding salt & turmeric. Cook for 2 whistles. After cooking cool the same & drain water. Make a paste in blender. Heat oil in Kadhai. Add mustard, Ulad dal, jeera, red chili , asafetida, green chili, grated ginger & curry leaves. Sauté it for 2 minutes. Then add cooked paste of jackfruit & mix. Add salt & mix. Add grated coconut on top &!lemon juice. Mix well & garnish with coriander leaves. Yummy jackfruit masiyal is ready to serve. #millet #kichidi #littlemillet #recipe #milletkichidi#samairice Ingredients: சாமை அரிசி / Little millet- 1 cup பாசிப்பருப்பு / Green gram dal- 1/4 cup துவரம்பருப்பு / Pigeon dal- 1/4 cup வெங்காயம் / Onion- 1 தக்காளி / Tomato -2 பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 2 இஞ்சி பூண்டு விழுது / Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp சீரகம் /Cumin- 1 tsp பிரிஞ்சி இலை / Bay leaf-1 மஞ்சள் தூள் / Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp மிளகாய் தூள் / Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - 3/4 tsp நெய் / Ghee - 4 tsp குடை மிளகாய் / Capsicum- 1 காரட் / Carrot- 1 Method: Wash & soak little millet for 30 minutes. Wash & soak dals for 15 minutes. Add dal & millet in pressure cooker with ghee. Add carrots & capsicum . Add 3 cups of water with turmeric powder. Cook the same for 3 whistles. Take a pan & add oil. Add bay leaf & cumin. When it crackles add ginger garlic paste & green chili. Then add onion & tomato. Add salt & cook till soft. Add cooked millet & onion in Kadhai. Add 1 cup of hot water to adjust the consistency to make it to correct consistency. Then add coriander leaves on top. Mix well & cook for 2 minutes. Our little millet kichidi is ready with onion tomato raita & sliced onion. Can serve with papad also. Try this definitely which is v good for health. Ingredients: வெள்ளை கொத்துக்கடலை/ Chickpeas- 1 cup கொத்தமல்லித்தழை / Coriander leaves- 1 bunch சீரகம் / Cumin- 1 tsp பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 2 மிளகாய் தூள் / Red chili powder- 1 tsp மிளகு பொடி / Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp வெங்காயம்/ Onion- 1 பூண்டு / Garlic - 5 to 6 பேக்கிங் சோடா/ Baking soda - 1/4 tsp ப்ரட் தூள் / Bread crumps- 3 tbsps எண்ணை / Oil - to fry உப்பு / Salt - 1/2 tsp Method: Wash & soak chickpeas in water for 12 hrs. Take green chili, coriander, garlic, onion, green chili, chili powder, salt & pepper powder in mixer grinder & grind coarsely. Then add chickpeas to that & grind coarsely in whipper mode. Take out the batter in a bowl. Add bread crumps & baking soda to that & mix well. Keep it covered & keep in refrigerator for an hour. After 1 hr take out the batter & give the shape of ur choice Heat oil in Kadhai. Take the mixture in a big spoon & make dumplings in oval shape. Can make in ball shape also. Fry the same in hot oil till it becomes in golden color. Fry in medium flame so as to cook inside well & crispy outside. Ingredients: லிச்சிப்பழம் / Lychee fruit- 500 gms சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 1 tbsp உப்பு / Salt - 1 pinch எலுமிச்சை ஜூஸ் / Lemon juice- 1/2 lemon புதீனா இலை / Pudina leaves- 2 to 3 Method: Wash & peel the outer skin of lychee & remove the seeds inside. Take the fruit in a mixer . Add a pinch of salt, sugar, lemon juice , pudina leaves & grind. Can take the juice without straying also. You can strain & use. ஆடி மாத ஸ்பெஷல் தேங்காய் பால் செய்வது எப்படி/Coconut milk payasam recipe/Aadi Paal/தேங்காய் பால்

Ingredients: தேங்காய் / Coconut- 1 வெல்லம் / jaggery- 1 glass ( for 1 .5 cups of coconut milk) ஏலக்காய் / Cardamom- 1/2 tsp Method: Take out the brown colour skin of coconut & grate the same. Add little warm water & grind the same in blender. Take out the milk by strainer. Again add the coconut add water & grind. Strain the same to take the 2 nd milk. Combine both milk. Add 1 tbsp of wheat flour & mix well & keep it ready . Add cardamom powder & mix well. Take jaggery in a vessel & add 1/2 cup of water & let it boil nicely. By keeping the flame in low slowly add & mix well. Let it be in low flame for 3 to 4 minutes. After some time the froth will settle on top. It should not be over boiled. Once the froth settles we can switch off the flame. Serve hot or cool .
