ஈஸியான அரிசி அப்பளம் செய்முறை/Rice papad recipe in Tamil Method-1How to make Rice papad in easy way

Ingredients: அரிசி மாவு /Rice flour- 1 cup தண்ணீர் / Water - 1.5 cups உப்பு / Salt - to taste ( 1/2 tsp) பச்சை மிளகாய் விழுது / Green chili paste- 1/2 tsp சீரகம் / Cumin - 1/2 tsp எண்ணை / Oil - 1 tsp Method: To make flour: Wash 1 kg of rice thrice & drain the water. Dry in a cloth for 2 hrs nicely. Then add 100 gms of sago ( sabudana) to that & make flour in a flour mill. From this flour take one cup for papad. Take a heavy bottom pan & add 1.5 cups of water. Add salt, green chili paste, oil & cumin. Let it boil. Then add rice flour to that & cook nicely. Keep it for 6 minutes in low flame & cook the same. ( if the pan is not thick heat Tawa on gas & keep the pan on that & cook for 6 minutes so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom) After 6 minutes cool the dough & keep it in thick plastic bag & press nicely on all sides with potato masher, so that the dough becomes soft nicely. Take out that & roll small size balls to make papad. Keep the balls inside one plastic sheet & press it with a plate or flat bottomed vessel to make papad. Spread the same event with a finger to get a thin papad. Dry the same in hot sun for 2 days. After 2 days we can fry them in hot oil. This papad becomes big & white in colour if we follow few tips correctly. Try this & give your feedback. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!
