Aval Omapudi vadam (No cooking)Poha Kurdai/Aval Vadam Recipe/How to make Poha Kurdai without cooking

Ingredients: சன்ன அவல் / Thin Flattened rice/ Patla poha - 2 cups பச்சை மிளகாய் பேஸ்ட் / Green chili paste- 3/4 tsp எலுமிச்சை சாறு / Lemon juice - 1 tsp ( 1/2 lemon ) உப்பு / Salt - 3/4 tsp பெருங்காயப்பொடி / Asafoetida powder- 1/2 tsp Method: Clean & wash flattened rice in a strainer with water. As it is very thin it gets washed nicely. Keep poha in the strainer itself for 45 min. After 45 min take poha in a plate. Add green chili, salt & asafoetida. Mash it nicely without any lumps. Grease the Murukku press with oil. Take desired "sev" plate. Fill up & start making vadam. It should be dried for full 2 days. This type of vadam is very easy & without cooking. Can be easily made without any problem. After 2 days we can fry vadam in oil. It comes out very nice & white in colour. Try this recipe and give your feedback. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!
