Ranjis Flavours: Sun dried Potato chips/ Home made potato chips/ காய வைத்த உருளைக்கிழங்கு சிப்ஸ்


Ingredients: உருளைக்கிழங்கு / Potato- 4 படிகாரம் / Alum - 1 piece Method: Peel the potatoes 🥔 and slice them. Wash in water nicely. Take another bowl of water and mix the water with alum so that our chips comes out white in color. Keep in alum water for 1 hour. Again take a bowl of water and wash potatoes thoroughly. Keep water in a bowl and let it boil. Then add the washed potatoe slices in the boiling water and let it boil for 4 to 5 minutes till the potatoes becomes little soft. If we press the potato we know it is cooked. Drain the water from potatoes. Crease a plate with oil and keep all the slices one by one without touching. Then we can sundry them for 2 to 3 days. This chips comes out in a nice white colour when they r fried in oil.
