Ranjis Flavours : Moong Pakoda/ Green Sprouts Pakoda/ பாசிப்பயறு பக்கோடா / Green Gram Pakoda/Mangodi



Ingredients: முளைகட்டிய பாசிப்பயறு / Green Sprouts- 1 cup அரிசி / Rice - 2 tablespoonful பூண்டு / Garlic - 8 to 9 இஞ்சி / Ginger - 1 small piece உப்பு / Salt - To taste சோம்பு / Fellel seeds - 1/2 tsp வெங்காயம் / Onion - 1 எண்ணை / Oil - To fry பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili-4 Method: Wash green gram and soak it . After 7 to 8 hrs drain the water and keep it in a container covered. Next morning we can see the sprouts in green gram.keep it aside. Cut the onion in small pieces. Soak rice for 2 hrs. Then grind green sprouts, garlic, salt, green chili, fennel seeds,ginger and rice together in a mixer jar coarsely. Add onion to the mixer and mix nicely. Heat oil in Kadhai . Put small quantity of the batter with a spoon in oil to make pakoda. Fry them to light brown color and our Green sprouts pakoras are ready to eat hot with Tomato ketchup. Enjoy Ranjis Flavours!
