முருங்கைஇலை சப்பாத்தி/Drumstick leaves layered Paratha/Nutrient packed Moringa leaves Paratha recipe

Ingredients: முருங்கை இலை / Moringa leaves- 125 gms ( washed, cleaned only leaves) கோதுமை மாவு / Wheat flour- 1.5 cups கடலை மாவு / Bengalgram flour- 3 tbsps உப்பு / Salt - to taste ஓம்ம் / Ova / ajwain- 1/2 tsp சீரகத்தூள் / Jeera powder- 3/4 tsp மல்லித்தூள் / Coriander powder- 3/4 tsp மிளகாய்தூள் / Red chili powder- 1.5 tsps எண்ணை / Oil- 2 tbsps Method: Wash & clean Moringa leaves & drain water. Take wheat flour , Bengal gram ,Moringa leaves, coriander, cumin, carrom seeds, red chili powder, oil & salt in a vessel. Mix nicely. Then add water & make a nice dough. Rest it for 1/2 an hour. After 1/2 an hour make balls out of the dough & make round chapathi. As we r going to make layered one , apply oil on chapathi evenly & fold as I have shown in video & roll the same. Then make chapathi out of that. Heat tawa on stove & keep the chapathi in medium flame. After the bubble comes turn the same to the next side & apply oil. Roast it on both sides nicely. Our Moringa leaves chapathi is ready to serve with mango pickle & onion. Onion Raita will also be a nice combination for this. Try definitely & give your feedback. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!
