#modakam #modak #modakrecipe #coconutmodak #badamcoconut Ingredients: துருவிய தேங்காய் / Grated coconut- 1/4 cup பதப்படுத்திய பாதாம் பொடி / Blanched badam powder- 1 cup சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 1/4 cup ஏலக்காய் பொடி / Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp குங்கும்ப்பூ/ Saffron- 20 to 25 strands பிஸ்தா பாதாம் துண்டுகள் / Pista badam pieces - 2 tbsps நெய் / Ghee - 1 tbsp + 1 tsp மோதகம் மோல்டு / Modak mould - 1 பால் / Milk - 1 glass பால் கிரீம் / Milk cream - 2 tbsps Method: Heat ghee in a pan & roastgrated coconut in low flame till the moisture goes. Keep it in a separate plate. In the same kadhai add milk & boil. Let it get thickened in low flame. After that add milk cream to make it more creamy & tasty. Let it thickens. The add blanched badam powder, coconut , saffron & cardamom powder. Mix it well in low flame. Add ghee to that. After 3 to 4 minutes it gets nicely cooked & leaves the sides of the pan. Take a small portion of the mixture & roll it & see. If it comes out in a good roll it is ready. Switch off the flame & cool the same in a plate. After cooling take small portion of the mixture & fill it up in the Modak mould. Grease the mould with ghee all over.close the same & take out the excess mixture. Then open it & take out the Modak slowly. Our coconut badam modak will be ready for Lord Ganesha. Add few strands of saffron on top & do neivedhyam to Lord Ganapathi.
