மொறு மொறு வெந்தயகீரை பருப்பு வடை/How to make Fenugreek leaves dal vada/Crispy Methi dal vada recipe
கொத்தமல்லித்தழை / Coriander- 3 tbsps வெந்தயக்கீரை /Fenugreek leaves- 1 bunch( cut) இஞ்சி / Ginger- 1 inch ( cut in very small pieces) பூண்டு / Garlic- 6 to 7 ( cut in very small pieces) அரிசி மாவு / Rice flour- 1tbsp கடலை மாவு / Bengal gram flour- 2tbsps மைதா / Maida - 1 tbsp Method: Wash & cut methi leaves Wash & soak Bengal gram & mung dal for 3 hrs After 3 hrs drain water & take dals in mixer jar. Keep 1/2 the portion of mung dal separately in a cup. Remaing mung dal grind with Bengal gram . Add red chili, salt, asafetida & curry leaves to dal. Grind dal coarsely. Keep it in a bowl. Add mung dal which we kept separately, onion, methi leaves, coriander, maida, rice flour Bengal gram flour & saunf to the dal mixture & mix thoroughly with hand to make a batter. Heat oil in kadhai. Take small balls of the batter in hand & make round shaped vada in a plastic or aluminum sheet. When the oil is hot slowly put vadas in oil & fry till golden color & crispy Serve all vadas with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
