பாதாம் மக்கானாஅல்வா/Lotusseed Badam Halwa/How to make Makhana Badam Halwa/Foxnut Almond Halwa recipe

Ingredients: மக்கானா - தாமரைப்பொரி / Fox nut- 60 gms பாதாம் பருப்பு / Badam/ almonds- 60 gms குங்கும்ப்பூ / Saffron - 4 to 5 strands ( soaked in milk) முலாம்பழ விதை / melon seeds - 2 tsps பால் / Milk - 1 cup முந்திரி / Cashews- 5 to 6 ( chopped in small size) பிஸ்தா விதை / Blanched Pistachios- 5 நெய் / ghee - 7 to 8 tbsps சர்க்கரை / Sugar - 1.5 cups ரோஜா இதழ்கள் / Rose petals- little Method: Wash & soak almonds for 5 hrs. Peel the skin & make fine paste with milk. Keep it aside Dry roast Makhana till it becomes crispy in a pan. Make fine powder after cooling. ( in this step we can add milk & and make a paste out of that OR add milk when we combine with badam paste) Add ghee in pan & add almond paste & keep it for 2 minutes & stir. Add melon seeds & saffron milk in that. Mix well. After it cooks add fox nut powder & mix well. Then add sugar. Stir well to combine all. Add 1/2 cup of milk & mix nicely to combine all nicely. Stir in medium flame & add little ghee to that. After 3 minutes almond fox nut halwa will be ready & leaves the sides of the pan. Add cashews & mix. Halwa is ready now, keep in serving bowl. Top it with blanched pistachios & rose petals . Quick, Yummy, tasty & healthy Almond fox nut halwa is ready. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!
