How to make Carrot Hummus at home/Carrot Hummus Recipe/Spread-Dip Carrot Hummus/Tasty Carrot Hummus


 

#CarrotHummusRecipe#SpreadCarrotHummus#RanjisFlavours#DipSoreadHummus Ingredients: வெள்ளை கொண்டைக்கடலை / Chick pea- 1 cup சிவப்பு காரட் / Red carrot- 1 ( orange carrot also can be used) வெங்காயம் / Onion - 1 எள் / Sesame- 50 Gms ஆலிவ் எண்ணை / Olive oil - 5 tbsps உப்பு / Salt - as per taste எலுமிச்சை சாறு்/lemon juice- 1 lemon Method: Wash & soak chickpea overnight. The next day cook it in a pressure cooker for 6 to 7 whistles after adding a little salt to that. Cut carrots & onions Roast sesame in Kadhai & fry it dry till it pops. Cool the same & grind in a blender. Then add olive oil & salt to make a fine paste. ( Tahini paste) Keep little oil in a Kadhai. Add onion & carrots & fry. Then add the cooked water of chickpeas & cook the same with a lid for 4 minutes. Check it after 4 minutes whether it is cooked nicely. Cool the same & grind in a mixer jar finely. Add cooked chickpeas, pepper, garlic paste( can add garlic also) Salt, sesame paste, olive oil & lemon juice. Grind all to a nice paste. Our yummy carrot Hummus is ready. Take the same in a bowl & add olive oil on top & basil leaf. This spread can be used with Roti, bread, etc & used in lunch box recipes as a spread. Can be used as Dip with corn chips as a snack in the evening. Try this excellent protein-rich recipe.
