Poosanikai Morkootu/Easy Vegan White pumpkin Curry in curd&coconut gravy/Ven Pusani mor kootu recipe

 



#PoosanikaiMorKootu#WhitePumpkinInCoconutGravy#RanjisFlavours Ingredients: பூசணிக்காய் / White pumpkin- 1/2 kg தயிர் / Thick curd- 2 tbsps தேங்காய் / Coconut 🥥- 1/2 பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili-3 சீரகம் / Cumin/Jeera-1 tsp உப்பு / Salt - to taste தண்ணீர் / Water- 1 cup அரிசி மாவு / Rice flour- 1 tbsp கடுகு / Mustard- 1 tsp உளுத்தம்பருப்பு / Ulad dal- 1 tsp கருவேப்பிலை / Curry leaves- little எண்ணை / Oil - 1 tsp Method: Peel the skin of the white pumpkin & cut in square pieces. Add water & salt. Cook in medium flame with a lid. Grind coconut, green chili & cumin in a blender to a fine paste. Check whether the pumpkin is well cooked. Switch off the flame. Add rice flour & curd to the coconut paste & mix well. Then add the same to the pumpkin & mix it. Heat oil in a tadka pan. Add mustard & ulad dal . Roast it till it becomes golden color. Add on top of kootu with curry leaves. Lastly, add 2 tsps of coconut oil & Mix well and serve with dal & rice. Yummy white pumpkin mor kootu is ready.
