Sun dried Tomato powder Recipe/Homemade tomato powder/How to make tomato powder at home
#TomatoPowderRecipe#SunDriedTomatoPowder#RanjisFlavours Ingredients: தக்காளி / Tomato- 3/4 kg Method: Select well ripened thick tomatoes. Wash & wipe it with a cloth. Slice all tomatoes in a round shape after removing the portion on top. Keep a plastic sheet on a plate. Arrange all sliced tomatoes in the plate separately by not not touching with one another. In that way it is easy to dry tomatoes in sun. Dry for 3 days & it should be well dried. Take all dried tomatoes in a mixer jar and make fine powder out of it. Store it in air tight container for usage. Tomatoes can also be preserved in another method , by making purée & freeze in ice trays in freezer. #வாழைக்காய்பொடி#VazhaikaiPodi#RawBananaPowder#RanjisFlavours Ingredients: வாழைக்காய் / Raw banana-3 எண்ணை / Oil- 3 tsps மிளகு / Pepper- 1/2 tsp சீரகம் / Jeera / Cumin- 1/2 tsp கடலைப்பருப்பு / Bengal gram- 2 tbsps உளுத்தம்பருப்பு / Ulad dal- 2 tbsps சிகப்பு மிளகாய் / Red chili- 12 கொப்பரை திருவல்/ grated Dry coconut - 2 tbsps கருவேப்பிலை / Curry leaves- little உப்பு / salt - 1 tsp பெருங்காயம் / Asafoetida- 1/2 tsp Method: Wash & peel raw bananas. Grate the same in a grater & dry it in hot sun for 3 days till it is dried completely. Make powder out of it in a blender & keep aside. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan. Roast asafoetida separately till it becomes golden color. Add pepper & cumin. Roast it. Then add Bengal gram , Ulad dal , red chili, curry leaves & dry coconut. Roast all things evenly till it becomes light brown in color. Cool the same. After cooling the masalas grind them to a powder in a blender with asafoetida. Then add raw banana powder to that and make a nice powder. Store it in air tight container preserve. This powder will be v tasty with hot rice & ghee. Our Raw banana powder is ready now. Rava Omapodi Vadam in 15 minutes/Rava Omapudi vadam/Rava Sevai vadam/sooji Kurdai/semolina Vadam
#RavaOmapodiVadam#SoojiKurdai#RavaSevaiVadamRecipe Ingredients: ரவா / Rava / Sooji - 1 cup உப்பு / Salt- 1 tsp தண்ணீர் / Water- 2 cup எண்ணை / Oil - 1 tsp Method: Wash rava with water. Then soak it in water to immerse rava fully. 2nd day Next morning discard the water on top of rava. Again add water to soak it overnight. 3rd morning again discard the water on top of rava . Take out the rava & measure it in a cup . It should be in a cup where it is full so that we can measure water accordingly. Keep 2 bowls of water in a vessel & boil it. ( water to be measured in the same cup where we measured rava) Add salt & oil in the water. Once the water boils add rava to that slowly by stirring it constantly in a medium flame. Then cover it with a plate for 3 to 4 minutes to cook the same After 4 minutes open the lid and again stir it in low flame to cook nicely. We can touch it by hand to see whether it is cooked & small bubbles will come while stirring. Then we can switch off the flame and cover it with a plate to cool. Keep the plastic sheet ready to make vadam. Take a sev type plate & fix it in sev machine by applying oil inside. Fill it with rava and make vadam. We can take thick sev plate also to make . Dry in sun for 2 days. Heat oil in a Kadhai & fry in medium flame . It is very white in colour & easy to make. Try this recipe & give your feedback on this.
