Tomato Rice Vadam/Tomato Rice Papad Recipe/வீட்டிலேயே சுலபமாக செய்ய தக்காளி அரிசி வடகம் செய்முறை

Ingredients: அரிசி / Rice - 1 cup தக்காளி / Tomato- 2 ( big) உப்பு / Salt - 1/2 to 3/4 tsp சீரகம் / Cumin - 1 tsp மிளகாய் பொடி / Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp Method: Wash thrice nicely & soak rice overnight. Drain the water in the morning & make a nice paste by adding 1/2 cup of water in a mixer. Cut tomatoes into pieces & grind in mixer with salt nicely. Take out the juice through a strainer by adding 1/2 cup of water. Boil the tomato juice after adding cumin & red chili powder. After boiling nicely cool the same After cooling the tomato juice add the same in rice batter and mix. Keep a Kadhai with water for steaming. Keep a perforated plate on that. Take small plates & grease the same. Take a small spoon of batter & spread in the small plates & keep it for steaming with a covered lid for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes take out the plates & cool. After cooling with a help of a knife release the sides of the Papad slowly and take out. Keep the same for drying . Can cut the Papad with a help of cookie cutter if necessary so that we can get a nice shape. Dry Papad in hot sun for 3 days & tomato rice Papad is ready to fry.
