#potato #vadam #உருளைகிழங்கு # Ingredients: உருளைக்கிழங்கு /Potato-2 அரிசி மாவு / Rice flour- 1 tbsp சீரகம் / Jeera - 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - 1/2 tsp Method: Peel potatoes & keep in water. Cut in small sizes & make fine paste in mixer after adding 1/2 cup of water. Filter potato water in a vessel & again grind with the paste to take out all. Add the potato water in Kadhai. Mix rice flour & cook in low flame. When it thickens switch off the stove & add salt & Jeera & mix. Take a small ladle & place the batter in a sheet by not spreading much. Dry them in hot sun for 2 days. Fry the same in hot oil & serve. It is a very easy & tasty recipe which one should try. #thokku #smallonion #சின்னவெங்காயம் #chutney #chutneyrecipes Ingredients: சின்ன வெங்காயம் / Small onion 🧅- 3/4 kg வர மிளகாய் / Red chili - 10 புளி / Tamarind- lemon sized tamarind soaked in hot water பெருங்காயம் / Asafetida- 1/2 tsp கடுகு / Mustard - 2 tsps மஞ்சள் தூள் / Turmeric powder- 1 tsp கல் உப்பு / Rock salt- 1 tbsp எண்ணை / Oil - 3/4 cup வெல்லம் / Jaggery - 1 tbsp Method: Peel the onions. Grind chilies & onion in mixer to a fine paste. Then add tamarind pulp & grind nicely with salt. Heat oil in nonstick Kadhai. Add mustard to splutter. Then add the onion paste slowly to that. Keep the stove in low flame otherwise it will spill all over. Fry them in low flame for 10 minutes. Then add jaggery & again fry till it leaves the side of the pan. Totally it will take 25 minutes to fry nicely. Our small tasty onion thokku will be ready This can be stored in dry container & kept in refrigerator for 10 to 15 days. #சுண்டைக்காய் #வத்தல் #sundried #turkeyberryrecipe Ingredients: சுண்டைக்காய் / Turkey berries- 250 gms தயிர் / Curd - 1/2 cup ( mix with water to make buttermilk) உப்பு / Salt - 1.5 tsps மஞ்சள்தூள் / Turmeric powder- 1 tsp Method: Wash & takeout the stem. Add in prepared buttermilk . Add turmeric & salt. Mix well. Keep it soaked for overnight. Next day morning take out the berries in a plate without buttermilk. Dry in hot sun. Evening again keep in buttermilk & mix. Second day morning again dry well in hot sun. Can be dried for 3 days also till it gets dried nicely. #vadam#rice #leftoverricerecipe #ricevadam Ingredients: ரைஸ் / Cooked rice- சீரகம் / Cumin - 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - 1/2 tsp பச்சை மிளகாய் விழுது / Green chili paste- 1/2 tsp Method: Take leftover rice in room temperature. Make a smooth paste by adding little water in mixer grinder. Measure the paste. If it is one cup add 3/4 cup of warm water in total & mix. Add green chili paste, salt & cumin . Mix well . The consistency is as shown in video. Take a fridge mat & pour the thick batter in that without spreading much as the rice is cooked well already & we have made a smooth paste. Dry in hot sun for 2 days. No hassle in preparing this vadam. Even beginners in kitchen can make it v easily. Fry in hot oil after drying . It will come out v nicely. Pl comment on this video.
