ரவா பாசிப்பருப்பு வச்சு சூப்பரான lunchbox recipe/Rava mungdal cheela/How to make rava mungdal cheela

Ingredients: பாசிப்பருப்பு / green Mung dal- 1 cup மெல்லிய ரவை / Nice Rava- 1/2 cup தயிர் / Curd- 1/2 cup வெங்காயம் / Onion- 1 துருவிய காரட் / Grated carrot- 1 கொத்தமல்லித்தழை / Coriander leaves- 3 tbsps பச்சை மிளகாய் / Green chili- 4 ( can skip if u prepare for children) சீரகம் / Cumin ( jeera )- 1 tsp மஞ்சள்தூள் / Turmeric- 1/2 tsp மிளகாய்தூள் / Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp உப்பு / Salt - to taste பட்டாணி / Frozen peas- 3 tbsps எண்ணை / Oil - to roast cheela Method: Wash & soak mung dal for 5 hrs. After 5 hrs drain the water from dal & make a nice paste out of that without adding water. Keep aside. Soak rava in 1/2 of thick curd for 30 minutes after mixing the same nicely. After that add soaked rava in the mung dal batter & mix thoroughly. Add onion, carrots, coriander, salt, turmeric, green chili & red chili powder. Mix well & the batter is ready now. Heat a grill pan & grease the same with oil. ( can make in ordinary tava also)Spread the batter in a rectangular shape evenly & add oil. Cover the same & cook well till we get golden colour. After 4 minutes flip to the other side & roast it. Make all cheelas like that & serve with Kadhi ( Mir kuzhambu) or tomato ketchup or green chutney. Can cut the same in pieces & can pack in lunchbox. All will enjoy this recipe for breakfast or in lunchbox. Enjoy Ranjis flavours!
