Maida Papad/ Maida Vadam/ மைதா வடாம்/ How to make Maida Papad/ All purpose flour Papad


#MaidaPapad#MaidaVadam#AllPurposeFlourPapad#RanjisFlavours Ingredients: மைதா/ Maida- 1 cup உப்பு / Salt- 1/2 tsp ஓமம் / Carom seeds- 1/2 tsp (Instead of carom seeds can add cumin or sesame as per option) Can add green chili or chili flakes as per choice. Method: Take maida in a bowl. Add Carom seeds & salt to that & mix nicely. Add 1.25 cups of water to that & mix nicely , by adding water little by little sonthat thd lumps are not formed. Make a smooth batter. Boil water in a pan for steaming the Papad. Grease small small plates for steaming the Papad. Pour the batter with a spoon so that the batter spreads all over evenly. Place all plates on top of plate in the pan for steaming. Steam the same for 3 minutes with a lid. After 3 minutes take out the small plates and cool the same. Keep a plastic sheet to dry all Papad before hand. After cooling the Papad take out the same with a help of a sharp knife from all sides to remove from the plate. Place the same in the sheet for drying. Make all Papad in the same manner and dry the same for 2 days in the sun or under the fan inside the house. After 2 days when it is dried nicely it is ready to fry. Heat oil in a Kadhai and fry the same & serve.
